About Glide

Glide is a one-button arcade game in the lineage of Flappy Bird, the 2013 phenomenon that proved a game needs exactly one verb to take over the world. Gravity pulls your bird down; a tap flaps it up; between those two forces you thread a corridor of pipes that never gets easier and never ends.

There's no filler between attempts — crash, tap, you're flying again. Runs are measured in seconds, which is precisely why "one more" is so dangerous. Your best score is saved locally, so the grudge is permanent.

Glide FAQ

Why is this kind of game so hard?

One control means no recovery tools. Every flap commits you to an arc, so a single mistimed tap is already an emergency — that tension is the entire design.

How do I play on a computer?

Click anywhere or press the space bar to flap. On a phone, tap the screen.

Does Glide ever end?

No — the pipes keep coming. The game is your best score, and the grudge against it.

Is my best score saved?

Yes, locally in your browser on your device. No account needed.
