About Stride

Stride is a deliberately awkward running game in the tradition of QWOP. You do not simply press go — you control the runner's legs one muscle at a time, trying to coax a stumbling sprint out of pure chaos. Getting anywhere at all feels like an achievement, which is exactly the joke.

How to play

Use Q and W to drive the runner's thighs and O and P for the calves. Coordinate them into something that resembles a stride, and try to cover 100 meters without faceplanting. It is famously, gloriously hard, and that is the point.

Tip: Forget speed at first. Find a slow, repeatable rhythm that keeps you upright, then gradually push the pace from there.
